Q: Can the hair be dyed or bleached?
A: Yes. The hair is virgin human and raw hair. It can be bleached and dyed. However, we recommend taking your hair to a professional to avoid over-processing which can result in shedding or dryness.
Q: Does the hair shed?
A: Any hair that has been sewn onto a weft may experience minimum shedding. Minimum shedding means the hair will shed but never have a noticeable decrease in density. Minimum shedding is normal, just like your real attached hair. However, proper maintenance of the hair including usage of wide tooth combs is advised and will decrease the amount of shedding.
Q: How many bundles do I need?
A: Keep in mind, the longer the bundles the smaller the wefts. For lengths 20" and lower we recommend 3 bundles. For lengths over 20" we recommend 4 bundles for a fuller look. For lengths over 30" we recommend 5 bundles for a fuller look.
Q: Can the weft be cut?
A: Yes. However, we do not recommend cutting the weft. Cutting the weft is likely to cause the hair to shed.
Q: How much do each bundle weigh?
A: Each bundle weighs between 3.2 – 4 oz.
Q: Does Platinum Blonde (#613) Hair require higher maintenance?
A: Yes. Once hair is bleached, it becomes fragile and easier to shed. It will require daily hydration to maintain its integrity.
Q: How long does the hair last?
A: Depending on maintenance, hair will last 6 months to a year.
Q: What is Virgin Hair?
A: “Virgin” hair has not been dyed, bleached, permed, or chemically treated.
Q: What is Raw Hair?
A: “Raw” hair is from a single donor and unprocessed. This may cause a slight variation in texture and color of the bundles. No two bundles will look the same. However, we ensure that bundles are closely matched with each other.
